EcoFoote’s goal is to be a carbon neutral company as we offset our emissions and assist other businesses to reduce their carbon impact. We help businesses shift to more sustainable practices and become carbon neutral. We track and measure our online carbon impact and offset our business operations with our tree planting service. To limit climate change to a 1.5°C increase we must emit no more than 565 gigatons of carbon globally this century. This is a daunting fact that is becoming the biggest global threat that we face today.
We must all act to reduce our Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions in order to slow the warming of our planet. Deforestation is one of the primary factors adding to the additional CO2 into our atmosphere. Every 1.2 seconds, humans destroy a football field’s worth of forest land. Deforestation accounts for an alarming 20% of our current greenhouse gas emissions.
With our partners, we aim to reduce the impact of deforestation and restore ecosystems through reforestation. We promote biodiversity and the preservation of forests to enhance ecosystem health.
